@idefix37 I see this too. The area seems to cover a large fraction of the northern hemisphere when you use the warnings layer. It seems unlikely that the USGS geomagnetism program would issue a warning for rainfall!

RE: Updating widget notification remains all the time
I have 39.1.5 and still have a constant notification of "Updating widget". I don't have any widgets. If I add one, the message goes away. But if I don't, the message appears when the phone starts and doesn't go away.
Same happens whether battery use is set to Unrestricted or Optimised.

RE: Cap alerts
@Korina Current CAP alerts which are showing on Meteoalarm widely across EU and UK today are not showing at all on Windy. Meanwhile Windy shows one alert in Macedonia which doesn't exist according to Meteoalarm.
I'm in the UK and the UK Met Office has certainly issued alerts, which are picked up in Meteoalarm as well as by the Meteoblue app. But Windy shows nothing. So I think there is a bigger problem, not an issue with one specific country.

@korina Thank you for your reply and consideration :)

Allow "Download App" message to be disabled
Please consider letting us turn off the Download App message when using the website on mobile. The app is just a web wrapper anyway and I not only get better performance in my own browser of choice, it also works significantly better on my low spec device because I can browse in lots of different sites and they do not have to reload after switching to Windy and back. This is because the App has additional overhead since it means basically two different browsers being open if browsing the web and Windy alongside each other.
Plus, I am fully aware that the app is just showing the website so I would like to be treated as an adult who can decide for myself how to use it 😉
If it is down to embedding of maps / API(?) then why not let registered users turn it off but not anonymous users?
Thanks, and also thanks for making and maintaining the great resource that is Windy 🙂

RE: February 2019 Climate Update by Copernicus
Previous commentators - engage with the report. Dismissing it out of hand is not science.

RE: 3D option disappeared
I must say I'm disappointed by that decision. The 3D option was very well hidden so it isn't surprising it wasn't well used. (edit: and it wasn't available on mobile)
For properly understanding weather patterns a 3D view is way better than a flat projection that doesn't even let you see the poles. I would have thought it was a better idea to stop work on the flat projection and work on a proper 3D view instead which could then be the only view - obviously when zoomed in close it would be effectively 2D anyway.
The current 2D projection is pretty horrible if you live in higher or lower latitudes (even for me living in the UK it gets quite confusing looking at low pressure systems passing to my north) or if you want to see arctic weather and so on (in fact it is impossible to use in that case). Windy has massive potential - if it had a working 3D view it would be easily the best and most accessible resource for so much information about our weather. As it is, it's good but has to be used alongside something like Earth Nullschool to see what is actually going on on a global scale.
Of course I would like to than you all for your hard work in providing this valuable resource for free and you may obviously develop it in whatever direction you like! So thank you very much and I hope you will change your minds later on. After all, the world isn't going to become flat any time soon :)
