First of all, I would like to express my gratitude for the outstanding work you do with Windy. Your platform is an indispensable tool for everyone passionate about the weather, especially those of us involved in flying.
As a paragliding pilot, I rely heavily on detailed and accurate weather information to ensure safe and enjoyable flights. One of the key tools for this purpose is the Airgram, which provides a comprehensive overview of weather conditions at various altitudes. However, my primary interest lies in the weather conditions in the lower air layers, specifically up to an altitude of about 3500m MSL / 600h or even 850h for flatlands
Currently, the Airgram offers a broad view of weather conditions across a wide range of altitudes. For my specific needs as a paragliding pilot, however, the ability to limit the displayed altitude in the Airgram would be extremely helpful. Such customization would allow me and other paragliding pilots to more quickly and efficiently access the information that is relevant to us, without having to sift through less relevant data at higher altitudes.
Therefore, I would like to suggest the introduction of a setting option in the Airgram that allows users to define the maximum altitude or pressure surface to be displayed in the Airgram. Such a feature would significantly improve the user experience for paragliding pilots and potentially other user groups interested in specific altitude ranges.
I am convinced that such an adjustment would further increase the utility of Windy for a wider user base and make the platform even more indispensable for the community of paragliding pilots.
Thank you for considering this request, and I look forward to future improvements that will make Windy even better suited to the needs of its users.
