Hi! Is it possible to set opening layer to be other than wind? I'd like to see radar by default and...
MY GOD THIS APP IS AWESOME!
I tried them all... And this one just kicks the ass of every other weather app out there. Thanks so much!

@yopo +1 on this feature. I think it is an absolute must! š
LOL!
I "worry" about rain maybe 90 days a year vs 3 to 5 days for wind. Wind is only annoying when it gets pretty strong which is rare. Hence it would make sense to make it configurable to user preference.
And don't worry, you don't need to change the name of the app even if you add the feature. ;-)
Ok thanks.
Well, it was snowing here. I'll check next time precips are stronger to see what it looks like. I could see them in competing products that shall remain nameless here. :)
Having a summarized daily forecast on current location when we bootup the iPad app would be really great and eliminate clicking. Also right now, the only way to "quickly" see how much rain or snow will fall is to add up the hourly totals which is a bit annoying.
Thanks again for making such a weather geeks ultimate tool! I shared it in all the pilots forum I go to.

@Adam-Tanner I agree. Windy has moved away from being strictly about wind prediction since they added a lot of new layers. I love using it as a weather geek, but it beats me they don't have humidex (feels-like) and wind-chill factor as it is essential for many places in the world. Light bulb is a start, but it's not the same.
It would make sense especially now that Windy owns a majority stake in Meteoblue, which offers "feels like" in their map layers.

In Canada, the airport layer also displays weather stations. Airports codes in Canada all begin with CY (CYYZ, CYUL...).
The weather stations appear and are always decoded as LIFR, probably because you don't have visibility and cloud information for them.
I would not necessarily remove them, as it's useful to see. But I'd definitely put them in light gray or lighter colour different from the airport flight rules colours. But I'd rather they be removed than all appear as LIFR because it makes it difficult to see an overview of current flying conditions.
Thanks for the amazing tool, I contribute to it and use it everyday!
This is really cool but is it possible that the plugin is broken? I tried in Chrome and Safari (on Mac) and I don't see each waypoint adding up on the left of the map. So I can't select individual altitudes and speeds, as I see in the Windy news post that announced the plugins.
