thanks for the information
since only have access to lat/lon info as input for location I will use the weather picker to spot on target.

I find it rather difficult to visualise the wheather conditions surounding a vessel by using the grid scale displayed on the edge of the map. So my question is

How to position a vessel at sea directly on the weather/wind layer by entering its precise LAT/LON data ?
