@Suty said in Satellite outage over the North and South America:
There is currently an outage of satellites over the American continent. We are waiting for further development.
Hi @Suty , would be interesting,, for the users side, that next time a problem happens you guys create a popup in the application letting them know about the problem. IF its possible.
Cheers
@BakerD2020 said in Satellite imagery not working since prior update it's been like this for 2 days.:
Satellite imagery not working for 2 days since last update to the application.
It is apparent that the update caused the app to stop working properly so fix the problem already....
Same here!
Here Satellite imagery isn't working for the Americas.
@idefix37 @suty thanks for your reply, I did understand what @idefix37 was saying but disagreed a bit that It was simple to do. What I meant was that; from the routes I've already uploaded from my laptop through
is not possible to load and mark them as favorites, there's no option for that! However I have tested loading a gpx file from my windy app on my ipad and then add it to favorites as I upload it, doing this way it does show in favorites! So it means that I have to upload again all the routes already loaded using my laptop's browser.
In in one of my comments I have put a similar screen print like this (I've put this fav btn!)
giving the idea of placing an favorite button so after uploadin an KML or GPX file the user can also mark it as favorite.
Would like to thank you guys so much for answering my question.

@idefix37 how can I do that? It doesn't seem to be possible to load an GPX route and save as favorite.
@idefix37 I've never said my routes were saved in my favourites, I upload and load'em when I need it, in theory they're on windy' server somewhere. But there's no option to load those routes in the app! At least I didn't't find it.
Couldn't find the option to add the route as Favorite, maybe Windy's team could create an Fav icon next to the GPX uploaded file.
@Suty Hi Suty, thanks for your reply, this way the route indeed appears on favorites but not the routes saved previously uploaded from a KML or GPX file.
@idefix37 thanks for your help. Hope windy developers can solve this issue and add a sync function to the code so the ones who uses the saved route over the map can have it on the app as well.
Take care.
@idefix37 my ipad had 2 or 3 routes that I had saved localy, but none from the ones I uploaded using my laptop. Also the ones I have saved on my ipad didn't show on my laptop's list as well. So I think this favorite's lists doesn't sync.
@idefix37 Oddly my saved ones on the laptop does not appear in the app Favorites' list, by the way I'm using the same account in both devices!
@idefix37 This option saves the fresh created route to the device but do not load the ones already saved as favorites!
Hi everyone, couldn't this answer on FAQ.
I have many routes saved in my Windy page on laptop, and I would love to be able to display it in the app on my ipad or iphone, is it even possible?
As a pilot I fly usually the same routes and it would be very handy to be able to load the saved routes previously uploaded from my laptop into Windy and open on my ipad or iphone app.
Thanks in advance.
