@Suty Is there any plans to merge Windy and Meteoblue subscription to one? Or at least provide discounts for users of one service for the other?

RE: What source of weather data Windy use?
Any plans to add ARPEGE model which better covers Mediterranean Sea.
It seems that GRIB files should be free, similar to AROME that is already supported in Windy.

RE: Totally disappointed by recent update (picker, layer list)
@Ftjwinfs I would also like to understand why this very useful use case (inspecting various locations on map) is not supported anymore.
I am also a sailor and have exactly the same needs: explore options on a map to find better route or anchorage for the night.
The new "Move the map to change the forecast location" is not a replacement for the old feature that we all loved.

RE: Arpège
@idefix37 good point, ecmwf in windy is same resolution as arpegè, however I find arpegè (and derived models like aladin) better for sail navigation. Windy's great UX would be great with arpegè

RE: Windy route planner incorrect swell and wind direction compared to normal forecast?
@idefix37 yes, I know that and it works for me. It is just confusing that I need to explain this and where to find the option to every friend that I have persuaded that Windy Premium is worth their money...

RE: How do I add my ship to be a station ?
@William-Krukowski This is very easy if you have Signal K on your boat network.
I have Victron Cerbo GX to monitor my boat electrical system and it has special Large firmware which includes Signal K open source software.
What I did:
- connect Cerbo GX to Garmin NMEA2000 via VE-Can to NMEA2000 cable
- install Large firmware on Cerbo, enable Signal K
- I have my Garmin network always on (I just turn off all GMI displays and plotters with power off key): this provides me heading, wind, depth and AIS data on NMEA 2000 network
- On Signal K I had to
- install Signal K Windy plugin
- install Derived Data plugin to calculate wind.directionGround
(from boat heading and wind angle)
And now I have my own windy station and I always know exact situation on my boat from Windy.

@Ondřej-Šutera yep, it was a delay. Thanks for clarification.
Updated just now: -
RE: ECMWF 10 day forecast display shows only 6h intervals for last 3 days
@idefix37 Thanks for clarification, maybe they should be marked differently in the header to reduce confusion with meteogram (where there is no interpolation)? Or add interpolated values also there to make it consistent?

ECMWF 10 day forecast display shows only 6h intervals for last 3 days
When we are planning sailing regatta, we sometimes look in 10 day forecasts from ECMWF to get the idea and to better decide on the area we want to sail.
When I open Windy for specific location, it shows by default 7 day forecast, that can be expanded to 10 day forecast like this:
Question: why are last three days shown only in 6h intervals?
When I go to Compare forecasts there is 3h forecast even for last three days for ECMWF (but here I cannot see wind gusts):
Why is 3h display not possible on the main page (with wind gusts)?

Windy Embed for personal weather stations
I am providing weather data from my boat as Windy Station.
I use signalk-windy-plugin that uploads my boat data to Windy PWS.Would it be possible to add support for Windy Stations for embedding (iframe) via https://embed.windy.com?
I would like to add my windy station data to my dashboard on the boat.

Route planner only ECMWF?
Is there any good reason why route planner does not support other models than ECMWF?

RE: Windy station on the boat - location not shown if changed
And additional question: I am also sending 'pressure' in Pa to Windy, but it does not show in Windy.

Windy station on the boat - location not shown if changed
I have setup Windy station on my boat with Signal K Windy plugin. It uses my Garmin boat instruments and Ruuvi sensors for the data.
https://www.windy.com/station/pws-f06efc48?44.666,13.653,8When I am underway, station location is properly shown on boat location on Windy map.
However, when I inspect historical data, it does not show the location of the measurement on the map - it leaves the point on the current location in my home port.
Can this be fixed as this data is misleading for Windy stations on movable vehicles like boats.

RE: Arpège
@Ondřej-Šutera That is very unfortunate, as Arpège Europe model is one of the best models for Mediterranean Sea, particularly as it has 0.1 grid.
My favourite weather routing app (SailGrib WR) supports both ECMWF 0.4 and Arpège Europe 0.1 and the difference in routing is shown here - this is for our regatta tommorrow:
ECMWF: https://photos.app.goo.gl/j3Cj7BLeXHbs9rZQ7
Arpège: https://photos.app.goo.gl/iR5WRXViQyHfGxR4A
The difference in grid can be seen with the density of wind barbs.
It is really unfortunate that this great model that is public does not get supported in best weather app - Windy.
BTW: we use Windy route planner to check forecast a week before regatta to plan the best route: https://pbj.pojalabanda.com/jadranje/2023/vreme/
