@idefix37 It looks like you can customize the colors and intervals but the legend intervals are static. still shows up to 3ft, so you can't see your custom colors in the legend...not really useful.

RE: Rain accumulation layer unreadable
@idefix37 Just because there is an explanation doesn't mean it's a good one. You admit yourself in one of those linked posts it's really imprecise. I shouldn't have to go on the website (on a tool advertised as an app) and fiddle with hidden settings to make it readable. The scale could be dynamic in many different ways to solve this issue. Why ruin the map for edge cases in the tropics? I suggest the developers take a look at pivotalweather.com for a scale that makes much more sense. But thanks for the link, I will try to fix it.
On your point on snow, I agree it's inaccurate so why not give an option to just show QPF and let me decide on the snow:liquid ratio myself. Instead if I go to San Francisco it shows inches of rain, then I go to Vail in the same "Basic" view and it shows made-up inches of snow. Without labels to make it clear. In fact in the vail example the label on the left says "Rain" "in"

Rain accumulation layer unreadable
Hi,
I am a new premium subscriber who would like my money back. I started writing a post about the topic in the title then found the same issue described here:
https://community.windy.com/topic/8234/rain-accumulation-map-scale-remains-hard-to-read/3
The fact this hasnt been fixed in 2 years is super disappointing. It's also really unclear to me when the app is showing QPF vs snow accumulation, at what I think is just an assumed 10:1 ratio which often isn't very accurate. The combination of these makes the app pretty much unusable for my purposes (tracking snow for skiing).
