RE: RGB Satellite
Thanks for your response, Korina. I didn't notice this option, and it looks quite interesting. Actual RGB satellite images however, use multiple different IR/VIS channels. Because of this, the difference between (for instance) the top of a -5 degree Celsius Stratus cloud and -5 degree land surface is distinguishable (and will display different colors). Using a normal (single-channel) IR satellite image like Windy does, one can not see the difference between -5 degree cloud and -5 degree land.
Anyway, it might be an interesting feature for the future. -
RE: New Sounding Display
I believe the complaints you mention apply mostly to mobile devices. I too experience the problem you mention with the inability to move forward or backward in time while watching the sounding. In the browser version, this is still possible though.
Your 2nd point I thought I agreed to, but then I found out it is not that bad. You can still move up and down in the y-axis, with your finger/mouse to the far right of the graph (you dont have to put your finger on the lines to get your info). You will get some clutter from the abs/hum & dry/wet-adiabatic lapse rates, but at least you can still clearly see the height/air pressure/dew point/temperature on the y-axis.

RE: New sounding with radiosonde measurements
I have only just found out about these excellent changes (was on vacation), kudos to the team! I use soundings on a daily basis, and these features make me use Windy even more, rather than using the sluggish weather application on our workstation we have in our workplace.
I find the sounding functionality works best on a desktop-browser environment rather than on iOS/Android. This is because on the web-environment one can scroll through time while checking soundings and this does not seem possible on a mobile device. Adding this possibility on mobile devices would be a huge improvement for those users.
In any case, thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

RGB Satellite
Windy already provides an incredibly beautiful visual satellite. During the night however, one would have to switch to IR/IR-Blue. Would it be possible to add an extra option, like a low-cloud RGB? This way, one can see Stratus/fog in more detail and one is able to better distinguish Stratus from Stratocumulus.
Here is an example of such RGB from knmi.nl. Especially the gap (in fog/Stratus) near Luxembourg is well detailed.Kind regards,
Marcel, a happy user of Windy!
