@Suty as per my posts above again on a Saturday and at 6:10am (GMT) the widgets stop updating, however I'm not suffering battery drainage like others. When I click the widgets or open the app it works just fine, just the widgets not updating so the only cure is a complete restart of the phone.

@MarcG77 ...and again at 4:10am Sunday morning, there's something stopping them from refreshing.

I've noticed something else, every Saturday it stops refreshing automatically and I have to reset everything again. This is now the third Saturday it's fine the same thing, last update of the widget was at 04:15 and it's now 08:00.

I've been experiencing the same in the past 2 weeks, my android device (Samsung S21 5G) is fully up to date with latest software/firmware etc. I have all permissions set correctly, there is no battery saving with the App (all turned off)

I have:

• Cleared Data & Cache = this temporarily fixes the issue but does not last long

• Uninstalled/Reinstalled the app = same as above

• Reset the Widgets = same as above

• Restarted the phone = same as above

Ultimately something is "stopping" the widgets from refreshing automatically after a short period and even manually refreshing does not work.

It may well be in the Hurricane Tracker but using the Wind Layer there is zero indication of a Hurricane and hasn't been all day today.
Usually you see the swirl and tight "arrows" of a Hurricane or tropical storm, but there's absolutely nothing for Otis, can you explain this please? thanks

Suggestion;

Hi, I use Windy.com Wind for many various activities and there's one Quality Of Life change I'd like to see implemented for the Mobile App please (perhaps as an Option).

That is the Altitude Slider positioned on the main view above the Speed Bar at the bottom, currently as it looks on mobile the right hand menu bar obscures the view of the main view making it slightly awkward to continually move the slider, press the X, got back to the side bar etc. It may not sound like much, but the ability to see the Winds at altitudes quickly at different heights is handy for me.

Hi, is this a feature of the widget? I'm finding it cumbersome to refresh the widgets manually when other weather app widgets refresh automatically. I've looked in the Settings but cannot find anything there to change.

Using latest Android, both app and mobile software are both up to date, thanks.
