    • Section of rain accumulation

Hi, I have a question about the rain accumulation. What does the next 12 hours mean? Are the next 12 hours from the reference time? Is the reference time always the same? This is local time or UTC?
      Thank you

    • About Convective inhibition index (CIN)

      Hello windy team,

I have a suggestion. The CIN index (apart from CAPE index that you use now) is necessary to predict convective rain. This index informs us of the energy required to produce the necessary vertical movements in convection. Is it possible to implement it here, in windy?
It would be great for predict storms in a little region.

      Thank you

    • RE: About Convective inhibition index (CIN)

      Hi!
First of all, thank you for your answers.
Effectively, I can see and predict rain, showers, thunderstorms or heavy thunderstorms with the "Rain, thunder" layer. In addition, index CAPE is very useful to predict convective rain.
Other than that, I would like to have other parameters like CIN because it's very difficult to predict thunderstorms in a place and see its evolution. It was a suggestion to improve this, I'm glad to hear from you to implement it in the future.
I love windy website and app. You're working very well.
