    • RE: Forecast chart colors

@Annual-Salvador-Rally The colors represent the strength of the parameter (wind, waves, etc.) same as on the map.

    • RE: New Layers: Wet-Bulb Temperature, Solar Power and UV Index

@Korina The solar radiation value is an especially helpful resource for me. Me and some of the meteorologists I work with have already started using it to forecast solar energy at our assets. Thanks!

    • RE: Show fronts on isobar map

@midtoad There may be a dataset that Windy could pull (perhaps from NOAA) that includes fronts, but the model data doesn't draw fronts. In most instances they are added by a human meteorologist as part of an analysis.

Personally, if fronts are added I would like them being displayed to be optional on the isobar map. As a meteorologist I prefer to do the analyis/interpretation myself.

    • Suggestion: Total Precipitable Water

      Hello!

Long time user here. I love seeing the frequent upgrades to this service. I would greatly enjoy if Total Precipitable Water were added as an available parameter to look at. Where I live and forecast, this is a critical tool in predicting the strength and timing of atmospheric river and other rainfall events.

Attached is a TPW display from WeatherBell for the ECMWF. Of particular interest in this one is the moisture plume aiming at SE Alaska. This display helps to pick out the source region of moisture, which is also useful for predicting temperatures and precipitation type.

Thanks for having this awesome service!

    • Outdoor map dropper displays meters when feet are selected (19.14.5, iOS)

      Hi all!

Just updated my app this morning and was enjoying the outdoor map. I have feet selected in my settings, but the dropper still displays meters when I am looking at elevations.

Thanks for having this awesome app!

    • RE: Integration in Apple Carplay

@tomsadlowski Last I heard (from the RadarScope developers), CarPlay is by invitation from Apple only. If this is still the case I wouldn’t count on it anytime soon.

    • RE: I hr Forecasts

@Balloonboy7 Most weather models only produce up to hourly resolution. Some mesoscale (regional) models, such as the HRRR, have a few parameters at 15 minutes, but not many.
