Is there any weather station software that can input multiple weather stations and send the data to windy?

@johncnelson I'd love to know what this is... :)

RE: Access to Windy on Iridium Go
@idefix37 Maybe it is something they could add in the future for grib offline support?

RE: Report your Weather Station Data to Windy
@korina I do have a weather website running weather station 3 but don't think that supports sending data to Windy. Maybe you can add support like you have for Netatmo stations? It looks like the data is open https://weatherflow.github.io/Tempest/api/

RE: Report your Weather Station Data to Windy
Is there any way to share my Weatherflow Tempest data with you guys or can you add support? I can create "data authorisations" that makes what I think is an api key (I'm not a programmer) and afaik I can set up wunderground sharing directly though with the way they have treated long time weather station owners is shameful, so a direct way would be good.
Thanks for all you do
Mark

RE: Windy launches "Observation vs. Forecast"
I'm still belt missing the gusts not being reported. 35-58 knots should definitely be in windy but it's not. E.g. Station 03980 but there all the stations are lacking consistent wind gust reporting.

RE: Wind speed not equal in “wind” tab and in “compare” screen
Why do you think this is a bug?

RE: Report your Weather Station Data to Windy
@notebooker I got a reply from Windy on twitter a couple of weeks ago. They are working on direct netatmo integration.

@erinriley said in Windy launches "Observation vs. Forecast":
I'd like to see gusts reported constantly too.

RE: Reported wind and gusts wrong
Another day, and storm Gareth. Official Malin Head data 40-57 knots. Windy reports 39 knots, no gust. This morning at 9am it was 16-48 knots ! Gusts are important and should be reported if available.

Waves rose arrows are hiding behind each other
The 3 different arrows are layered on top of each other, it would be good to be able to disable the swell or have a hierarchy of wind then waves then swell, or if they are going to get in the way of each other, just make them parallel to each other.
The text of the forecast is also a bit on the small side for a 5.5" screen.

RE: Reported wind and gusts wrong
yeah, I was thinking specifically about sailing yachts where a gust could blow out a spinnaker etc.

RE: Marine buoys in the middle of lands
Would it be possible to add wave height and maximum wave height to the buoy data?

RE: Reported wind and gusts wrong
Thank you for your replies. I see there is a new interface and a new Windy app update came to me this morning that shows gusts for a few stations, but not for Mace Head and others. I think it would be great if wind gusts could be included even if there is a less than 10 knot difference as for mariners, I feel this makes a difference in sea state and it is just nice to see a maximum wind gust in the 60 knot range as it was on Friday morning.
Thanks for your help, I'll be checking out this new interface today.

RE: Reported wind and gusts wrong
Oh, that is confusing. The website showed it was forecast to the right of the current time and reported to the left but I'm not seeing the same interface as you.
So then the main issue now seems to be that there is no reported wind gusts.

RE: Reported wind and gusts wrong
I'm aware the weather picker is for forecasts.
I'm just going by the 2 speeds shown in the graph (not forecast section). There are 2 speeds shown one on top of each other. Isn't that wind speed and gust?

RE: Reported wind and gusts wrong
The reported data is different to the met Eirann reported data.
I'm noticing that windfinder is wrong too so the data source must be the issue.

Reported wind and gusts wrong
Wind reporting for weather stations is in error. I haven't scanned every weather station but I am taking the Republic of Ireland weather stations as their data is easily accessible.
e.g. Mace Head, West coast of Ireland.
The official data from Met Eireann is available as a csv file as "Yesterday's Weather"

23:00 48 59As you can see at 07:00, the wind was 44-64 knots. Windy reported the wind as 34-44.7 knots, and the errors continued everywhere I looked. That is a BIG problem.
I sure hope you can fix this, as this is crucial if you are wanting to have community/personal weather stations included too.

RE: Marine buoys in the middle of lands
And there's another one. Buoy DBEB in located in the middle of Ireland.

RE: Would you like to report your weather station data to Windy? (depreciated)
I have just had confirmation from Netatmo that their partnership with Wunderground has ended. I'm not sure when this happened but I don't think it lasted very long. Maybe it would be worthwhile for Windy to approach Netatmo?
I use Meteoware Plus to distribute my Netatmo weather data to Wunderground, WOW Met Office, and PWSWeather.
I have just installed the wordpress Weather Station plugin on my website but really don't know how to use it yet and the options don't seem to work very well.
