Could well be that they're on the same layer. Perhaps zoom out a little and only the main airports remain.

I had previously investigated OGIMET (I think it's run from Spain) and it may be useful in the future, however the METARs are limited to 2005. Brazilian run REDEMET has API access to its OPMET https://www.redemet.aer.mil.br/?i=facilidades&p=api-redemet which is fantastic, but is limited to METARs from 11/2002, and is patchy for aerodromes outside of Brazil. I used to be able to scrape METARs from Weather Underground, but they've since disabled METARs from being displayed. For most international aerodromes METARs were available from 07/1996 at Weather Underground.

I'm keen to learn if there are any other regional OPMETs around which give good and long access.

I am interested in accessing historical meteorological data (specifically raw METAR/SPECI reports). Can anyone suggest an alternative to NCDC? https://www7.ncdc.noaa.gov/CDO/dataproduct

The change from FAJS to FAOR was made in 2013, so it's been ~6 years.
BREAKING NEWS
I've just searched FAOR in the bar at the top of the page of windy.com and it comes up. So, it seems the problem is FAJS is on a layer above FAOR in the exact same location. When you click on the circle only FAJS is activated. Therefore, I recommend removal of FAJS completely and all should be solved.
Also, do you know how to access METAR/SPECI observations via GTS?
