The models show TRACES of rain.
So, the probability of rain was low.Why in Ventusky can you track the lightning in real time and in Windy you can't?

If there was a weather model that was accurate enough to predict temperature to the nearest degree, rain to the nearest tenth of a mm, wind to the nearest km/h, and that in every place in the world, Windy would not need to show multiple models.
And what does your screenshot show? That the other models show a forecast with a deviation of 1°C, + max 0.6mm of rain, a very small risk of thunderstorm !
We cannot say what is the best model for your location. The Observation vs forecast feature could help you by checking a weather station not too far from you location

I'm a layman in this part about meteorology, could you explain this issue of observation and forecasting to me better?

This means that the 0.6mm of rain is predicted to be cumulated during the 3 last hours. Last 3 hours before the current model time stamp (I can’t tell exactly as you don’t show all the screen).I'm following the movement of the clouds on the satellite, it seems that this cloud that I highlighted in red is higher and blue is lower, is this like the height of the clouds in the satellite layer?

Yes Windy provides satellite imagery in every country almost in real time.
See a related postlight thunderstorms (3h) what does this 3 hours mean?

@idefix37 Does each region have a satellite to take images in real time?

Read "limitations", in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightning_detectorWhenever lightning appears, is it a storm or just the beginning?

@Gkikas-LGPZ said in I am not a pilot, but I am curious.:
And here I give you a "real world" example.

In the area marked with the red circle, there are thunderstorms (estimated tops 34.000ft).
The aircraft No.1, flying at 32000ft, deviated
while the aircraft No.2, flying at 41000ft, flew over the top of the storm. How interesting, Windy should include a flight radar on the map.

Radar+ ?posted in General Discussion

What is Radar+ used for in a place without any radar? In my city, it just distorts the image

I am not a pilot, but I am curious.posted in General Discussion
I am not a pilot, but I am curious to know what they do when they are near a storm. Does the airplane go through or above the storm clouds, and how do they locate it on the map?

@mbmpc Showing you what's coming soon and allowing you to estimate how much time you have. It is a crucial benefit that we have not now. From now on it is necessary to exit the application to access the GOES images at the Web.
Windy degrades itself too much with this decision.Could you explain better what you meant by "how long has it been"? How can I analyze this using a satellite image from 1 hour ago?

RE: What do I need to know to locate a cyclone on the map?posted in General Discussion
@Gkikas-LGPZ
Thank you for the previous question. Now I would like to know about the Cyclonic Vortex (VCAN) in Ceará.Cyclonic Vortex at High Atmospheric Levels, a meteorological system that typically occurs in December and January during the pre-rainy season in Ceará.
Is it possible to predict or identify the formation of this cyclonic vortex (Vcan) on the map?
