Are Windy plugins focused on hiking, climbing wellcome?
Hi,
are plugins that would show mountain tops and hiking rountes wellcome in the Windy ecosystem or would you like to keep the focus centered more around weather and flying?
I am asking as I would like to implement https://api.oalley.fr/#/ (or something like it) together with hiking route location and info + ALADIN weather forecast model.Best,
Michel -

Happy to see that, I hope you will add NEMS4 model.
That one from meteoblue seems the most accurate in the Alps

Favorites options under the search bar
Hi,
I would like to propose having home and work icons under when you click on the search bar. Similar like in google maps.

@dimamitya-0 said in Building numbers in navigating:
It would be nice to have a navigation to the building number I am looking for, not just the street name, so I would have a precise location I need to find.
I agree.

Please provide ALADIN model for eastern Europe
Please provide ALADIN model which ranges over: Austria, Croatia, Czech Rep., Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Algeria, Belgium, France, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Tunisia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania.
In eastern Europe this is the best model, with the most reliable forecast and developed by these countries national weather services.

RE: Documentation or guided tour for comparing reported wind to the models predictions.
Yes Yves, but in the picture I have posted you can see accuracy for the historical data (reported vs. forecasted wind). Not future forecast.
I was checking this manually and it's bothersome and not data driven approach.
Feature improvement would be it there would the accuracy data for weather models posted in the reported wind model comparison.
For example: MBLUE 60% accuracy, ICON 40% accuracy etc.
Do you maybe know Yves where I can see wind gusts in the screenshot you posted?
Best,

RE: Documentation or guided tour for comparing reported wind to the models predictions.
I have found it. If anybody else needs it, here is the link:
https://community.windy.com/assets/uploads/files/1567063937006-zkkxwx2.jpgBut I thinks it should be clear from the UX perspective which is the observed and predicted value. Also, I still don't know for sure, which is wind and which are gusts.

Documentation or guided tour for comparing reported wind to the models predictions.
When I look at the reported wind data, I have problems figuring out which arrow represents wind and which wind gusts.
Also I don't understand how I can compare reported wind with predicted wind from different models.
Best,
Michel
