    • RE: Wind forecast changes with sort order

@Suty It's consistent. I repeated the experiment, this time with ECWMF, then GFS selected. For example, in the first screenshot, ECMWF for that location, Sunday 29 at 0500 shows wind at 13/18 kts. In the second, same location, same date/time ECMWF shows 15/20.:

    • Wind forecast changes with sort order

      Hello,
I've noticed something that's driving me a little crazy: I'm looking at tomorrow's wind forecast, by doing the following:

      • Click on a map point.
      • Click "Forecast for this location".
      • Click "Wind" at the bottom of the screen.

This gets all seven wind forecasts stacked, with ECMWF on top of the sort order. Nice. Next I do the following:

      • Click "Basic".
      • Click another model, e.g. HRRR.
      • Click "Wind".

Again, we see the forecast, all seven models stacked, with HRRR at the top. However, tomorrow's numbers for the other models are significantly different!

I realize that the update rates are different among the models, but why would that make such a difference for tomorrow's forecast?

I've attached screenshots. Any advice is appreciated.
