    • RE: February 2019 Climate Update by Copernicus

Cyber Weather - Could you please list the source of your claim that global temperatures are 0.34 C above normal and falling.
For the month of Feb this report has 1.2 C above pre-industrial average.

    • RE: Wave Period Maps

Great to see there is some interest in having Significant Wave Period and Peak Period displayed on Windy!

These are the most useful for surfers and better than mean period fields.
They allow the user to much more clearly distinguish between swells and track them over distances.

In the ECMWF paramater list I can see ( https://codes.ecmwf.int/grib/param-db/ ) "Swell Peak Period" and "Wave Peak Period", the former being more useful

@Gkikas-LGPZ Having sounding plot is great but would be better if it was plotted as Skew-T or T-Phi

@koko_a @ivo Yes, weather picker temperatures for above 240K would be amazing!

@Gkikas-LGPZ I agree, it would be great if the picker showed brightness temperatures. This together with the model soundings would make it easy to identify cloud top heights. @ivo
