Wind button often says "Not Available" per screenshot and the button "Forecast for this location" rarely works. Any way you can roll back to the previous version which was much better, this upgrade really stinks. Using an S23 Android with latest Chrome.

    • RE: About Windy

Hi Ivo, in the Meteogram view instead of blank values in most spots could you just make the values (Temp - Dewpoint)/4.4 as otherwise us sailplane pilots have to sit there and calculate that for each. Or add a Cumulus-Cloudbase row beneath it (either is fine). Thanks for such a great site! - Michael Price

    • Ivo, can you add a Thermal Base button for the Soaring and Gliding communities?

Ivo, can you add a Thermal Base button for the Soaring and Gliding communities?

Super easy to calculate if you wish to go simple.
Thermal Base = 1,000 ft per 4.4F° difference in surfacetemp - dewpoint
(there are more complex formulas but this is good enough, this usually also forecasts the cumulus layer cloud base).

Thank you for a most awesome site! - Michael Price

    • Wind altitude increments

Any chance there could be a 1000 ft AGL option? That would sure be useful for us sailplane pilots going ridge soaring (big gap between 330 ft and 2000 ft). Thank you for the consideration and awesome site!
