I am running the Windy iOS app on my MacBook. I'm getting a warning about it being an old version. I suspect installing on MacOS was allowed by default and then at some point it was turned off. Can you confirm? Trying to use windy.com in Safari autolaunches the app.

Would love to have the current app on macOS.


It appears that Windy did a one-time import of ourairports.com database. They are now sorely out of date. Ourairports itself has a lot of trouble keeping up-to-date, so you really need to be updating regularly. Alternatively, get a commercial feed.

Super appreciate the widgets. Please consider branding them as in the example from your post, minimally and consistently. Just the Windy icon. No premium crowns or also adding Windy.com with the icon. We are already users. You upsell Premium in the picker which is great, but not in the widget itself.
