Unfortunately, some people copy the Windy app and even though we're doing everything to block them, some new copycats spring up quite often.

On the link below, You can see the most cheeky one, they even use our logotype. However, Windy does not support Windows Phone format at all, so every app using our API on WP are fake. I've reported this app for copyright violations and it should be removed from Windows Store in the coming days / weeks.

Keep in mind that all Windy apps are free, without in-app purchases etc and they offer 99% of our website's functionality.

You can always use left and right arrow buttons (on a desktop), to move the forecast yourself, if You don't like the speed of the animation.

1) It's only possible to add new webcams via meteo-stations, airport, but not through the webcams itself
2) After clicking on the webcam icon on the map a 'detail forecast' opens up, but the user has to scroll 'right' to actually see the webcamerast
3) When max-zoomed, it's hard to spot the webcam icons, because their colors blend with the map

@tomber42 Even though I get your point, I don't agree with you on this one. Imho the Windy version looks way better and modern.

@uebero Hello Uebero, I'm sorry to say, that https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/windy-pro/9nvjp69qvq1l?wa=wsignin1.0 is a copycat of Windy. Unfortunately, we don't support WP. I've reported that for copyright violation. Thank You for sharing this, I hope, this fake Windy app will be gone soon..

How to replicate the bug:

1. Click Rain accumulation
2. Select NAM forecast model
3. Click on the 'Next 3 days' forecast icon

Crashing Airgram on recent iOS 11.3.1 was confirmed as a Webkit bug

Power issues affecting ECMWF supercomputers caused a delay in today`s forecast update release. The issue is now fixed on the ECMWF side and we will release the update a few hours later than usual.

Dear Engant,
we are aware of the fact that in some places in the world, many have unsolved land disputes. Macedonia is one of them. As our service is growing the number of emails requesting border changes is rapidly increasing. Unfortunately, as a small company, it is not in our power to change every disputed border.

We are adopting the map's layers from the Open Street Maps community. Therefore I kindly ask you, if you would like to propose a border change you need to approach OSM directly, you can do this at http://www.openstreetmap.org/.
