Unfortunately, some people copy the Windy app and even though we're doing everything to block them, some new copycats spring up quite often.

On the link below, You can see the most cheeky one, they even use our logotype. However, Windy does not support Windows Phone format at all, so every app using our API on WP are fake. I've reported this app for copyright violations and it should be removed from Windows Store in the coming days / weeks.

Keep in mind that all Windy apps are free, without in-app purchases etc and they offer 99% of our website's functionality.

You can always use left and right arrow buttons (on a desktop), to move the forecast yourself, if You don't like the speed of the animation.

1) It's only possible to add new webcams via meteo-stations, airport, but not through the webcams itself
2) After clicking on the webcam icon on the map a 'detail forecast' opens up, but the user has to scroll 'right' to actually see the webcamerast
3) When max-zoomed, it's hard to spot the webcam icons, because their colors blend with the map

@tomber42 Even though I get your point, I don't agree with you on this one. Imho the Windy version looks way better and modern.

Definitely possible. Two ways of changing the units.

1. Go to settings, change the preferred units
2. Click on the units, it will change instantly

@tomber42 Even though I get your point, I don't agree with you on this one. Imho the Windy version looks way better and modern.

• Layer 'Cloud Tops' shows 100m altitude in a cloudless place

1. Hit 'Play' button on the timeline
2. Quickly scroll forward or backward
   -> The timeline will start blinking and flashing

• Bad thing for people who prefer °F temperature unit

1. Sea temperature anomaly only in °C
2. Sea temperature in °C, have to switch to °F manually

Also happens with:

• Sea temperature anomaly – EDIT: layer discontinued
• Rain Accumulation – EDIT: does not happen anymore

"Wave forecast missing" notification shows even when switched to different than 'waves' forecast detail.
