I have been helping out a friend who also is on an Expedition on Baffin Island. I have been sending him wind and weather updates by satellite messenger. Windy has been very helpful, though I'm not always sure which forecast model to use. It would help to have local knowledge.

Hi there, first off, let me say that I love this app! As a pilot it is invaluable. But I'm also an active Outdoors person and it's great for other activities like cycling, running, hiking, you name it.

One thing that is missing for me is a small widget, perhaps to X1, that simply shows current temperature and wind speed and direction. Your other widgets take up a lot of space on the screen and I don't always need a forecast. I just want to know which is the best route for me to take to minimize wind chill in cold weather.
