Storm Alert API
The new storm alert tool is amazing. Right now, I have my phone set up so that when I receive one of these alerts, it sends a current satellite image to a Telegram group. That got me thinking—it would be great to create an API that takes a latitude and longitude and returns a storm alert if one is active

It works well for me, the only detail is that in the satellite in real time they do not sound or are seen when they appear.

RE: Lightning sound only works with Radar+ layer on Windy in browser
I just notice that lightning do make sound when satellite forecast is active and I scroll the bar to the end like in the reference picture, is it correct that this happen? I think maybe that could be the mistake that make no sound in satellite layer.

Lightning sound only works with Radar+ layer on Windy in browser
Hi everyone,
I wanted to point out something I noticed while using Windy on the latest version of Google Chrome in Windows: when the satellite layer is activated, the lightning sound is not heard. The sound only plays when the Radar+ layer is active.
In my location, there are no radars, so I have to activate the Radar+ layer to hear the lightning, but then I can’t see the satellite infrared, which limits the information I can check.
It would be great if Windy could include the lightning sound in the satellite layer as well for a more complete experience from the browser.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Cheers!
