Is there any way to add both swell period and swell direction to the surfing alerts?
When I searched, the only thing I found was other surfers begging for this essential variable to be added to the surf alert configuration options.
Thanks for building such an amazing tool!

Windy surf alerts are gibberish
Here is my most recent surf alert:

What's a 2-6 kt swell? Is that supposed to be 2-6 feet? It was 1.6 metres at 8.9 sec from 143° on the offshore buoy.
Temp range of 10-34°C is insane. Actual range for today (Mon): 8-17°C
Wind forecast was E-SE 10-15 ktsIf this is representative, then the service should be switched off until it's fixed.
I love your work enough to be a paid subscriber, so take this as a plea !

RE: No overlays
@Suty
I updated Firefox (I thought it was up to date) and the layers are back. -
RE: No overlays
@Suty
Should've checked this before. It's a Firefox issue of some sort. Both Edge and Chrome work fine. So that's good!
Now to find out what's up with Firefox. Have other users seen this? -
RE: No overlays
@Suty
That is correct. What you see in the attached screenshot is what I see. There is only a grey view with wind animation. If I click on the map, I get the forecast details across the bottom of the screen. This didn't happen yesterday.
No matter which layer I select, none appear. They used to, but not any more. -
No overlays

No overlays, clicking on waves overlay shows only items bottom right, no forecast details across bottom of screen.
Windows 11, latest Firefox version, accessed from Australia, Premium Account
If it continues this way, it's of no use to me.

RE: Grey background and app impossible to use
@blackfish-ii
I am also a premium user and having similar issues with desktop version, ie grey background, no animation and the bottom of the screen shows only the dates line, with no data below that (eg what usually appears when I select the Waves layer). Using Windows 11 + Firefox. -
RE: How to read the Surfing spots
Please include the optimal swell period range for spots. This is really important information for surfers.
