    • equivalent potential temperature

      Dear windy team,

can you please integrate the equivalent potential temperature in windy as a layer. This would be perfect and alot of people would like it. This map should show the isobars together with the isolines (colors) of the equivalent potential temperature in 850 hPa. The equivalent potential temperature is made up of the temperature and humidity at 850 hPa. This is why weather fronts (strong displacement of the equivalent potential temperature) and different air masses can be seen even more clearly here than on the 700 hPa humidity map or the 850 hPa geopotential map.

Would it be possible to show two layers at the same time by using the time slider:

first layer: temperature in 850 hPa
second layer: forecasted clouds and precipitation, this would also make fronts visible very good
maybe third layer: radar forecast for the next hours
