    NathanTROP

    @NathanTROP

    My name is Nathan, for almost all my life I was interested in storms, including big ones like Hurricanes, as hurricane season rolls around, Windy is my valuable site to track hurricanes on a 5-10 day basis.

    • Hurricane Ophelia

      Ophelia will make landfall based on current models:
      Monday, October 16, 2017 at 12PM EST near Cork, Ireland. And the UK.
      A watch should be sent out very soon, chances are, anyone in the UK are not safe. I'm expecting a category 1-4 most likely a 3-5. Stay updated #PrepareUK

    • TROPICAL WEATHER THREAT:: MAY 26, 2018 OR MAY 27, 2018

      Even though the NOAA Outlook says no cyclones are expected, the wind has shifted and based on this and other sites I have concluded a tropical storm, or a depression to make landfall in Florida somewhere on the 26th or 27th. Wind Speeds average 41 miles an hour and wind gusts go up to 75 miles an hour.
      Q: Can it shut Schools out?
      A: No

      Q: Is it catastrophic?
      A:No

      Q: What damage can this cause?
      A: Close to none maybe some occasional lightning strikes leading to split trees.

    • Ophelia will MISS Ireland!

      Ophelia will MISS Ireland!
      Windy is now showing what will only be right on top of Ireland and will make landfall in the UK as a tropical storm. I've looked at a different model and it says the same. But still, a very dangerous storm. Stay safe Ireland
