I know my explanation was lengthy, but the point is prior to whatever changes occurred in the past couple of weeks, when I logged on, there were markers (dots, not hearts like a favorite) visible where I had set alerts. I clicked those markers and the forecast appeared.

My first question was why the markers were no longer visible, but when I reviewed my alerts, I saw the notice that they were being migrated. Now that I have set both favorites and alerts, I only see the favorites icon when I have selected to make them visible.

May not be a bug, but definitely is a change from the way it previously was visualized with no action on my part to select something I had previously set as an alert.

Today I methodically walked the steps...and was able to find a forecast and add a favorite. And from there I can create an alert.

But if I follow the instructions show in the menu...

I clicked on the map near the search bar for this example...

There does not appear the "...to the right of the search input..." as shown in the menu instructions.

If I go ahead and click the arrow on the pin, to see the detailed forecast, I do get the ability to add a favorite.

Now...I went ahead and set an alert for the area I am interested in...

There is no indicator on the map showing an alert is set for this location. Even with "My Favorties" clicked in the bar below...

If I edit the alert, it shows the location on the map, with the icon as if it were a favorite.

@Suty Previously, my favorites would show up with flags/icons on the when when I logged in, they no longer do.

There is the easiest way to explain the issue. It goes from there...

In the below pic, I previously had 2...well...at this point I am not clear if I call them "alerts" or "favorites", but I had 2 things there that would appear each and every time I logged in.

In the last couple of days, my alerts and favorites are not acting like normal. I did see the "migrate" guidance, and I decided to start over. But in the process, I also followed the instructions for adding favorites by clicking on any part of the map...all that looks normal, but the ability to create the favorite for the clicked position is no longer accessible.

@Suty I see this frequently as well where the icon will show that I am Premium, but the website does not show the details. Logging out and back on solves the issue. I shared my experience with a couple of other Premium subscribers as well, similar results. Phones still reflect properly. I have not been able to reproduce manually, it just happens from time to time, but keeps happening.
