Hello,
I had the same "issue" which basically can be set to "always on". The default settings seems to be "9 seconds".
Open the Setup menu and there you find below the physical settings the "Autoclose weather picker" setup. Select "Always on".

RE: Zoom In to topographics not possible
@Ondřej-Šutera
Hello,
OK I found the Error Console (Fehlerkonsole) and it reports "Sweet, no errors reported :-)". Seems to me that there is no error log or that my issue was not classified as error.
Next visit to India is in 2024 and I will check again and also consolidate the error console in the moment the issue happens.
Kind regards from Graz/Austria

I am back in Europe and as expected the ZoomIn to levels >11 works perfectly.
For the countries I am globally travelling, the ZoomIn stops at level-11 in India only - Pune & Delhi area I can confirm.

RE: Zoom In to topographics not possible
Hello Admins,
I am back in India and again have the described problem.
I am travelling a lot around the world. All continents except Africa. I have no issues with Windy, except in India.
The problem described again:- When zooming in to the world map, at any location in the world, the zoom stops at level-11.
- I am not able to zoom in further., so the topographic map is shown (the map with the lines of height).
- This problem is identical with the desktop (PC) WIN10 and the mobile App (smartphone S10, Android V12).
- Access tried via WLAN at the Hotel, our company and GSM
You definitely have a problem when I am accessing Windy from India.
Kind regards
VolkerNB: Tomorrow I will ask an indian colleage to access Windy and try it on his PC

RE: Format changed???
@Ondřej-Šutera
Hello,
the notebook has a touch screen and touch pad. My comment is related to the usage of an ordinary mouse with wheel, while the touch pad is inactive and the touch screen is active and not used.
Today I see that you are back to the previous version for PC & smartphone.
Frankly speaking, the new version for me has no advantages, but disadvantages. As some noted already, I might change to another App (wind finder, ...)too, if the update brings disadvantages.
For example I was missing to set the flag in the map with the display of wind speed/direction and the arrow to open the weather forecast. The new version with the cross in the center and then moving the location under the cross, restricts the section of the map. I sometimes have the flag in one corner of the visible map to compare to other locations. It is my feeling, that some software designer(s) just have to change something. Is there anyone in your team who daily uses Windy?
Kind regards,Volker -
RE: Format changed???
Hello,
On my PC (WIN10) with the new design I was presented today, I cannot click on dates on the time scale. The mark is fixed to current day/time and only chance to move forward is to click the autoplay button - awful slow to check the weather of the next days. Is there a new key/mouse combination needed to jump to the time scale for example of Thursday?

Hello,
Just want to bring up this topic again.
Would be a great help, especially for the smartphone APP.
Thank you very much for this great APP.

Further info that might help ...
On my flight to Europe I switched my mobile to flight mode in India. When I disabled Flight Mode in Munich Airport and started WIndy (App was not used before or during flight mode) the map centered at Delhi and the issue was still there. Restarting the App in Munich did not solve the issue. I had to switch off my phone and than Windy centered with Eurpoe Map and the Zoom In worked without restriction.

Hello,
Back in Europe since some hours and both, Mobile & Notebook, Windy works at Zoom In as I used to know. After Level 11 it changes, depending of my choice in Setup, to Stellite- or Topographic Map.
Must be an issue with India to my opinion. In India I connected to the internet at two different hotels, at our affiliate, at a customer and via GSM (4G) and always the issue.Lucky that it works again. I am travelling a lot and can confirm from my past travels since summer, that Windy worked as expected in the USA (Detroit), Canada (Toronto & Vancouver), Korea (Seoul).
Kind regards, Volker

Great that Edge works with you. It seems to be an issue with my account/settings or with me being in India.Thinking about it, the problem started when using Windy via Edge in India with my notebook that was booted in India. My mobile during flight to India was not switched off, but in flight mode. Windy-App worked fine in India on the mobile until I have booted the mobile.
Is it possible that out of the Indian internet network the topographic maps and satellite images are not available?Tonight I return to Europe and hope all will be fine again ... I keep you posted.
Thank You for your help.

@Korina
At my notebook Edge latest update. An other browser is not allowed by the company policy.
Since I restarted my mobile phone (S10, Android 12) I have the same issue with the mobile App.
You noted earlier that my settings could be the reason. I could not find any setting that influences to which map style it should change when zooming in further at level 11. Issue is identical for map- and satellite view. -
RE: Zoom In to topographics not possible
@Korina
... additional infoWhen reaching level 11, it stays there and does not change to satellite.

RE: Zoom In to topographics not possible
@Korina
I did not change anything on the settings and the switch to the detailed topographic map (I guess you call it toruristic) worked since years and today no more.
Even being a user for many years, I have no idea where I need to change something so I can zoom in like in the past to see the topographic maps.
Your advice is appreciated. -

... additional info
The Zoom In issue only exists with the Browserversion on my notebook.
The App on my S10 (Android v12) is working fine. -
Zoom In to topographics not possible
Hello,
I am premium user and the Zoom In stops at a level of 11. It does not load the detailed topographic card. Either scrolling with the mouse wheel or using the "+" button to Zoom In, do not work.
My location is Delhi/India
Browser is Edge (latest update)
Operating System WIN10 (latest updates)
Looking forward your suggestionsKind regards from Delhi
