The “New” Windy as opposed to the traditional Windy of 15-10-5 years ago.
What a waste. Just like everyone else, you are chasing the almighty dollar/pound/euro and providing 12 hours old data to anyone who doesn’t pay for a subscription. You even postpone updates like the ones that are “expected” at a defined time for 6+ hours saying that they are expecting them 6 hours ago.
Goodbye Windy, I’ve got better sources but I’m still sorry about leaving. You just forced me to.

RE: Understanding the Compare Forecast Feature in Windy.com
I’ve enjoyed comparing the 6 models: ECMWF, GFS, Metroblue, HRRR, NAM and ICON, taking into account the time of the last update.
While I like the broad picture of some, I’ve also noticed some internal discrepancies, like the map view vs the Compare text. But with regards to what’s predicted and what actually happens for my location, I’m finding that both the NAM and the ICON often agree, hard to believe given the locations, and when they do, they are correct. Aside from that my overall choice is NAM
My location is the Northeast USA.
