I want to put a tablet up on my hall wall, showing Windy, instead of a traditional barometer/weather thing. However, I don't want to use standard 10 inch tablet which I know will be removed by others in the house for videos, surfing etc. I want it to be a dedicated touch screen. As an option I'd love to feed in my/local weather station data for a local dashboard.

Has Windy/anyone gone down this route to develop dedicated hardware for home/business/industrial use?

Please can you tell me minimum acceptable spec to run windy on a wall mounted tablet? Would a Fire HD 8 or 10 be ok?
