@idefix37 Thanks for the hint. Did not think of tapping it, but now I know how it works.

When I use the distance and planning feature on my phone I can't scroll to the beginning or the end of the route. The position indicator on the 2D view is centered in the middle of the screen and the 2D view moves beneath it while scrolling, but only until its ends reach either the menu on the left or the end of the screen on the right side. On the example in the picture I scrolled as far to the end of the route as possible, but scrolling is over between the 14th and 15th waypoint. Everything behind that can't be reached. The position indicator on the map above moves in accordance to that only between these boundaries as well.

@Suty The bug, where the bottom menu is cut off seems fixed now, thank you.
But the bug with the overlapping labels in the layers menu on mobile and desktop (german language) is still there. It seems that there is a problem with long words and their breaking into the next line. See the two pictures just above. Any updates on fixing that?

I am not so sure about this. Yes, the phone screen is smaller, but even for the three available days I need to scroll and the screen is the same for e.g. meteogram view and there the long forecast is displayed without any issues (including wind). I just need to scroll there. It is kind of a bummer, that the length of the model combining wind forecast is so short on the app, espacially because the full length wind forecasts can all be viewed separately, by switching to e.g. basic data or meteogram view and selecting the different models, one after the other.
Regarding your point. I did not check your statement, but I would totally expect the displayed wind data to be only from the stated models and any added data from a different model to be clearly marked. Any other approach should be disregarded.

When I check the wind forecast on my phone I can only see about three days into the future, but on desktop way longer (see screenshots). Is this a bug, or what am I doing wrong?

@Suty Thank you for your work on this. I am using:

The bottom menu in portrait mode seems better, but on the right side it is still a little bit cut off and some of the labels are also cut off or overlaping. See first picture.
Some of the labels in the layers menu are cut off or overlaping as well. See next picture.
The same on desktop. See next picture.

@Suty I have the same problem.
As seen in the picture above the day labeling of the extended forecast does not work. Sometimes all the days are missing and sometimes only the last one is showing (as in the picture). When the extended forecast is closed, it seems to work fine.
But it does not always not work as seen in the picture above. I am not sure about that, but without testing it thoroughly it seems to me that it does not work during the day, but when I check windy during the night it works.

@mcousin According to this post this feature will be added in a future update. I am really looking forward to it as well.

Since the last update about a week ago the bottom menu is cut off on both sides in my windy app. I am using:
When I rotate my phone to landscape mode, everything is fine there.

@Suty I looked at it again and got some new info. I played with a test-route consisting of just two points. I increased the length in steps of about 10km each so that the overall length is always somewhere between two whole tens and then looked at the result. In other words starting somewhere between 0km and 10km and looking at the clouds, then increasing to a length somewhere between 10km and 20km and looking at the clouds and so on and so forth. In my previous post I stated that i do not consistently encounter this bug, but after playing for a bit now and seeing more of the pattern I think I do get it always and therefore can reproduce it consistently. Back to my little experiment. I noticed that the clouds disappear in the following intervals (I checked up to 500km):
100km - 110km
210km - 230km
430km - 440km
450km - 460km
This is in line with my original encounter with that problem, because my real word route with that problem is 218.9km long and therefore falls into one of the above categories.
As statet above I came across this problem in Firefox 126.0 (64-Bit) and Windows 11. In the mean time I tried
Microsoft Edge 125.0.2535.67 (64-Bit) and
the windy app Version 42.1.4 on Android (EMUI 12.0.0),
where the problem is not present and
where the problem is present as well.
Has anybody the same problem and can reproduce this?

@Suty Thank you for the quick rensponse. I tried it right now and I was able to replicate it. This time I tried it somewhere else and with a shorter route. And while doing so I found something new. While using my new shorter test-route it always occured when the route got longer than 100km. In the following picture the route is just above 100km and there are no clouds showing.
In the next picture the lenght of the route is shown as exactly 100km and the clouds are there.
But that seems to be not the whole story, because my original route was always significantly longer than 100km and had problems as well. When I increase the length of a similar shorter test-route, which has the same Problem at 100km, even more (to somewhere in the low 200km), the clouds appear again (did not capture a picture). It seems to me that they dissapear an come back several times when increasing the length of the route. Concerning the replication of the bug, I can't replicate it consistently. I don't know what the route really needs to look like to have this behaviour. I try one or two routes and then I usually get another one with this behaviour.

I encountered a strange behaviour, while using the route planer feature. As seen in the first picture, I created a route. The problem is that there are completely no clouds showing up in the 2D view at the bottom, despite the fact that there should be clouds at that time and location. Or more precisely it shows no humidity in the atmosphere as that's what I think the graphic is acutally showing.
The strange behaviour is that it seems that when I move any waypoint sufficiently far away from the rest of the route, the clouds magically appear. This worked with every waypoint I tried. For example see the next picture, where I moved the last waypoint.
I am using windy in Firefox 126.0 (64-Bit) and Windows 11. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

As seen in the first picture, the timeline bar and the overhead day bar are perfect in sync. The meteogramm starts at friday (red arrow) and the dark red time marker is also located below the beginning of friday as it should be and the highlighted weather is directly below the "FR" (red ellipse), where it should be as well (see wind in meteogramm).
But the trouble begins, when the extended forecast is opened. The meteogramm still starts at friday (red arrow), but now the dark red time marker is located roughly in the middle of friday and the highlighted weather shifted to the right as well (red ellipse). Now the highlighted weather in the time bar falsely indicates, that the period of higher wind starts later than it actually is forecasted. Tapping on various positions of the timeline bar also yields to wrong (shifted) positions in the meteogramm. Seems to be some kind of time scaling error, when the extended forecast is opened.
I have seen a similar post (posted 2019) about a bug in the browser version of windy, where the weather animation was not in sync with the selected time, when the extended forecast was opened. This issue seems to be already fixed and probably related with this one. Unfortunately this bug is also very annoying and hopefully it will be fixed soon as well.
