@pheur To clarify the concepts of wave energy and wave power, note that wave power depends on wave energy and wave speed. Wave energy is proportional to the square of the wave height and is expressed in kJ. Wave power is related to the product of wave energy x wave speed. Long-period waves propagate faster and are therefore more powerful. Wave power is expressed in kW per meter of wave crest. It is why wave power “can be estimated from the mean wave period and the significant wave height” as said in the link to ECMWF parameter I provided here above.

@pheur Hello, this behavior depends on which model was selected before switching to the Waves/Tides layer. However, please note that the Waves/Tides forecast is only available for a limited number of models — mainly depending on your location — with ECMWF being the default fallback option, alongside GFS (global) and ICON-EU (regional). That’s why the model may automatically switch back to ECMWF when changing locations. Let me know if you have some specific issue - ideally with screenshot. Have a nice day, Niki

@pheur Thank you for reporting this. It looks like the time format in info boxes is not affected by settings. I will forward this as a bug to colleagues.
