Each time I open the windy app or even switch between nowcast and forecast maps the weather moddl is see back to the default snd I have to manually reselect the model I‘m interested in. It would be helpful if the app could remember the model that was last used or to be able to set a model as the default.

Suggestion for automatic model switching
Naturally, the optimal model to choose will depend on the time frame considered. Using a fixed model is of limited use. For example, ICON D2 can be considered most reliable for short term forecasts, but it doesn‘t allow me to look beyond the next 48 hours. On the other hand, ECMWF is good for medium range forecasts, but I wouldn‘t use it for short term forecasts. Thus it is necessary to switch back and forth between at least two models, which is not convenient, since it involves two clicks plus scrolling.
Imagine if you could change the time freely and the app switches to the model best suited for the time frame automatically. This would be possible, if you could select a number preferred models and the app would switch to the model with the highest resolution available for the given time. Alternatively, preferred models could be arranged in an order to give the user the opportunity to define the priorization.

Temperature and dewpoint scales are not independent
When adapting either color scale to match the specific points of interest and intuitive color associations with them I discovered that changing one results in corresponding changes in the other. Both parameters are basically using the same scale, which makes it impossible to define a good scale for both.
