@Larry-G I agree. Please bring back the 3D view. Also bring back the historical weather info. The 3D view is much better when looking at a large area that includes portions closer to the poles.

@ivo You must put GFS wave model back. Every surfer only uses GFS as @tubevertigo correctly stated. ECMW gets the wave period completely wrong. For surf forecasting, the wave period is of critical importance. The GFS wave period map needs to be brought back. This is one of the few maps though where windytv is not as good as others, so it is worthwhile looking at wave period maps from other providers eg. buoyweather, noaa, etc.

@TomSlavkovsky . When I look at the wind map, I can change to GFS model. When I then switch to the wave map, it changes to ECMWF, and the GFS option disappears? Also, there is no wave period map anymore?

It used to be easy to switch between the ECMWF and GFS models. Now I am stuck with the ECMWF model.

The ECMWF model greatly underestimates the swell period. Take for instance Cape Town for tomorrow. GFS shows a 15 sec swell, ECMWF shows an 8 sec swell.

The new menu also omitted the swell period chart?
