@Simona-Polackova thanks for the information, but why dont you just make it a pay app and not refer to it as a donation if it gets taxed?

I just donated to Windy through the app. I got my receipt from Google and it shows tax added. What's going on here? Did I buy the app or did I make a tax free donation?? I don't mind donating or even buying the app, but that was a bait and switch.
