@Korina That was the FIRST thing I tried. The icon on the app store is correct so I deleted and reinstalled the app and still got the default Droid icon. Maybe I didn't get far enough down to get rid of the icon.

It's probably my phone that is screwing up. Moto G running Android 7.1. But when it updated, the screen icon became the default green Droid icon.
