Would it be possible , as an alternative tabular display of data every 3 hours, to present this information in a graphical format? Specifically, i refer to the "Forecast for this location" from the weather picker in the desktop environment. www.yr.no/../hour_by_hour_detailed.html is an example of a graphical interface.

RE: Scale factor resets to 5
In addition, if the scale is enlarged which includes the position of a favourite, and the favourite is clicked in the menu, again the scale is changed. E.g. scale enlarged to 9 by zooming in, then favourite is selected, then windy changes the scale to 7. It's impossible to select your own view with windy overriding every setting one way or another.

Scale factor resets to 5
I have a number of URLs saved for windy displays, such as this one:
https://www.windy.com/-Rain-thunder-rain?rain,-34.032,21.500,8,i:pressure,a:FFMFR.
However on loading this URL, the ,8, is always changed to ,5, causing the scale to be changed. It does not matter if the number is smaller (e.g. 4) or larger (e.g. 9), it is always changed on loading. This is a real nuisance as I specifically choose different scales for different purposes, and they are always overriden.

RE: Cloud tops are lower that cloud base !
Found out how to change to feet clicking on the ribbon at the bottom of the screen !

RE: Cloud tops are lower that cloud base !
Just noted that cloud tops are shown in feet, but cloud base in metres!! Can't see how to change this. Used to be both feet, so something has changed recently.

RE: Cloud tops are lower that cloud base !
Thank you for taking the time to provide a detailed explanation.
In reality, would never use a single source in flight planning (I go IFR anyway), but I thought it was pleasantly absurd to put the problem in perspective :o))

Cloud tops below cloud base
Forecast for Friday, 16 Nov 11.00 am local time at S33°56'49", E22°26'38"
Cloud tops: 2300 ft
Cloud base: 4087 ftNot quite certain what the optimum level for VFR flight would be ... :o)

Cloud tops are lower that cloud base !
Forecast for S34° E20.5° for 21-Dec-2017 at 10 am local time shows the following:
Cloud base = 17272 ft Cloud tops = 13000 ft.Suggests the forecast model does not check for inconsistencies, leading to questionable reliability??

RE: Windy brings new Waves-radar and additional isolines
Nice and useful feature.
It would be enhanced if every isoline could be clearly labelled with its value. Currently, you can see a number of isolines but only one, or maybe none, are labelled, so the information is of little value. The greater the zoom value, the worse the problem.

Tide tables
Windy covers almost every meteorolgical event, including sea swell.
How about adding high and low tide tables to complete the picture?

Colour schemes
The choice of colour schemes for some measurements is most confusing. Take wind for example: 0 - 10 kts is for all intents and purposes the same as 40 - 60 kts. Pressure: you could be forgiven for confusing 1000 with 1030 hPA. While with a bit of thought it is possible to know which range you are dealing with, IMHO to spread the range from min to max through the rainbow spectrum, i.e. from blue to green to yellow to red would be far more intuitive. A similar issue is: what if there is no colour, i.e. grey? Does this mean "don't know" or zero?
While in theory one can modify the colour scheme in settings, the sheer quantity of settings for all parameters makes this too daunting to bother. What might be of value would be to create a default which could then be applied to all the different parameters, where the chosen colour steps would be applied evenly between min and max.
