    • I do not like how you moved everything to the right side.

I do not like how you have moved everything to the right side. This was a bad and dumb move. I liked it better when elements you clicked on on the map had the slider info bar come from the left, and the right icons on stayed exactly where they were. I DO NOT like "static" elements on a page being moved for literally no good reason. This is as dumb as coders that design volume buttons to not fully show until you mouse over them, and then reveal the volume slider "somewhere" that you must now find and move your mouse to.

The GUI changes you have been making to the web version over the past year have just been yucky. And I swear all the extra eye candy has been slowing things down. I absolutely HATE HATE HATE slow and clunky web sites. I like the simple on/off toggles better if that makes things faster. They were easy to understand, and I only needed to use my scroll wheel to look through the list.

    • Disappearing altitude slider

What in the world is going on with the developers and the UI? You implemented a disappearing altitude slider? WHY??? Why do you follow all the horribly designed UI's that hide sliders such as volume sliders? They are the WORST. You first have to "click" on an icon to reveal the slider, then move your mouse to what you want to slide and then move it. THEN, it all disappears after a short time.

Now let me explain why this is so stupid. I'm sitting here doing flight planning. I like to use the altitude sliders to help me evaluate various elements such as wind. I move the slider to 6400ft and look at the wind. After I review that, I want to move it to FL100, the problem is, THE DAMN SLIDER IS HIDDEN NOW. So once again, click the airplane icon, slider pops out, move your mouse over to 6400ft and bring it to FL100. Review the wind, hmm, that's interesting over here, was that 6400ft level more favorable, I'll go check? Go to move the slider back to 6400ft AND THE DAMN SLIDER IS HIDDEN AGAIN!!! Click, move mouse, AGAIN, slide AGAIN, review AGAIN, rinse and repeat the entire time you are trying to evaluate wind.

PLEASE, STOP! Stop making stupid UI's that are constantly moving things around as you click on things. Stop with this right side crap for everything, that cause everything to move when it expands, including the map. Nothing is more frustrating than loosing your place visually either for icons that have now moved that didn't need to, or something you were looking at on the map that is now in a different location, or damn sliders that appear and disappear.

I don't know what has happened to UI's any more. Gray overlays on top of paused videos, icons that move around, sliders that don't show until you click them, stupid dancing icons that take up graphics/CPU and slow things down. Just stop it. Go back to being the lean-mean UI that you used to have.

    • Cloud base and visibility information does is not accurate

For the past few days now I've been comparing the cloud base and the visibility layers to both what I'm seeing outside as well as the Aviation Weather's "Helicopter Emergency Medical Services Tool" page and the Windy information is DRAMATICALLY inaccurate. So far I've found the FAA's Aviation Weather page to be about 10x more accurate for clouds and visibility under 5000' MSL. It is amazing the number of times in Windy that I'll look at the Metar of an airport and it shows MVFR or IFR conditions, and yet the cloud base and/or the visibility layer do not show ANY clouds at all over that region. That is a sure sign right there that the Windy information is in-accurate.

Today, right now, Windy shows literally NO clouds over my home airport and vis is unlimited yet my home airport is currently MVFR and you can't even see the runway from the airport web cams (I think it's actually degrading to IFR since the Metar was released.) Counter this to the FAA Aviation site and it fully shows MVFR conditions for my entire area with splotches of IFR and LIFR nearby, which is accurate.

I'd encourage any pilot to compare what you are seeing on Windy to https://www.aviationweather.gov/hemst and see for yourself just how inaccurate Windy is for your flight needs. It was a real eye-opener to me!!!
