    • Satellite driven data?

      Hello Windy Team,
We are sailors cruising the world. My job is to navigate base on data wind and wave conditions. we are exhausted spending money. BOAT (Break Out Another Thousand)! Before I buy Iridium, do you know or are possibly going to make available offshore windy info via satellite transitions? My cell phone is the workhorse of navigation and I can be offshore and receive satellite signals for navigation. My hope is to have this for weather, too!
      Sincerely,

      Richard

    • RE: Satellite driven data?

PredictWind's proprietary PWG and PWE marine weather forecast models are available along with the ECWMF and GFS models to provide the most accurate forecasts, available at the highest resolution. and they are copying Windy's motion of the wind, etc. just sayin'?
