It would be nice if there was a way to increase the volume of the pop sound that indicates lightning strokes. I can barely hear it on my imac with sound turned up all the way (too much for listening to other material).

Nice tool that is more informative than that on NWS web page. I'm curious what the switch does. Dry / wet lapse rates?
