@NurlG Hi, we are already working on this - the pattern size just needs to be tweaked. It should be fixed in the next version.

RE: Updated iOS now getting WebGL errors
@MetalAnon
Hi, could you tell us what iOS version and what Apple device you are using? Does the error happen every time you open radar layer? Does it also happen on the satellite layer?Thank you!

RE: Radar+ error on ios18
Hi, we are aware of the issue and have fixed it; it should be resolved in the next version. The problem was caused by a bug in the iOS 18 beta. We advise using stable OS versions.

RE: Dots, dots, lots of dots...
@jab8283 Hi, this is a precipitation type in radar - the same case as snowflakes. For now, we have three categories - snowflakes for snow, no pattern for rain, and black dots for hail. In case you are not interested in displaying pType in radar, you can disable it in settings.

RE: New satellite MTG difference in views
Hi @alanduckers,
the Radar+, Radar, and Satellite layers use the same data. The difference is that Radar+ also performs the mentioned extrapolation of past satellite data. However, this extrapolation does not apply to radar data in the Radar+ due to technical constraints. As a result, and because radar providers can experience delays, you may notice that radar and satellite data do not always sync correctly in the Radar+ layer. For example, in the UK, the radar data currently lacks the most recent timestamp. Regarding the strange patterns, these might be caused by satellite data outages that are compensated for through extrapolation.

RE: Animation freezing
@fhawkings Hi, which type of animation is freezing? Is it radar / satellite animation, or some other layer animation?

RE: Update caused problem
@Bulent-Bilgic Hi, thank you for the report. Could you send us screen recording of the app? We never saw this kind of error, so it could help us understand it. Thank you!

RE: Weather Radar Timeline
@LordOfTheHornets Hi, playing animation combining past and forecast can be toggled in the desktop mode using
play with forecastswitch.

However, it is not possible in the mobile version, at least for now. Afaik, there was never an option to play both in the mobile version (neither in the old version of the radar GUI). -
RE: Latest update broke the app on Pixel 10XL
@robembury Hi, what device do you use? We tested the behaviour on multiple devices, and this error occurred only on devices
Pixel 10,Pixel 10 Pro, andPixel 10 Pro XLin combination with Android 16. It seems there is some SW/HW problem leading to WebGL crashes. We will try our best to find an alternative solution to fix it, but keep in mind that the source of the problem is not Windy, and it could only be resolved with a new OS version/patch. -
RE: Satellite view has checkerboard overlay on free web version.
@EdGi1 Hi, this issue is likely related to how your browser decodes input images (it is not a WebGL error). In case it applies some modifications to the image (like color space modification), it can result in the "checkerboard" artifacts.
Could you try another browser (like Google Chrome)? Also, updating the browser could resolve the problem.
Or you can try the following approach related to color profiles in Firefox:

RE: Web gl scrap it
@Thexodus Hi, could you tell us why WebGL is a bad choice, specifically in combination with Android devices? Is it based on your personal experience? And what alternative do you recommend?
Btw, rewriting the whole renderer would not take us a day (even with agent mode).
