ECMWF model delayed
Due to power issues in ECMWF, he we have not received the 2026-06-28T0600Z reftime. Thus, ECMWF forecasts are working from slightly outdated data. We are sorry for the issue, but there is nothing we can do about it.
Once the reftime is published, we will import it ASAP. Current ECMWF status is available at https://status.ecmwf.int/

RE: IS IT POSSIBLE WE FIND STATISTICS DATA FROM PAST DATES? 2026 Jan
Hi, if I might offer a suggestion - Windy's sister company, Meteoblue, does offer an API for historical forecast and observation data going all the way to 1940. It's available here - https://www.meteoblue.com/en/historyplus. However, the service is paid. Even a single run of ECMWF is quite large (in the terabyte range). Due to that, storing historical data gets very expensive, very fast.

RE: 403 forbidden
@Thorsten-Kampe hello, just to check, what ISP are you accessing Windy from? Is it possible it's Starlink? They've been having some unfortunate interactions with Google, so I'm wondering if it could be that and we need to get in touch with them again.

RE: PWS API v2 - intermittent 500 error
@idefix37 The issues were connected, but not directly related. From what I was told, these were separate issues, but the guys should have fixed them in the same batch as the issue reported in the System Status thread.
