Wow! That's right !
So far, use "LightningMaps.org"
I'm very curious how Windy implements the function.
Best regards from Koblenz, Germany

Since the beginning of the Internet there have been few things that have become really good. Wikipedia or Google Earth as an example.
In my opinion, Windy is one of them.
With the Rainradar this site is really complete.
For commercial providers, Windy must be a nightmare.
Sign up if you need support (money) to stand up against the commercial providers.
A perfect weather page, free of charge and without advertising is good for the world.
Congratulations and thank you from Germany
The University of Bonn (Germany, Rhineland Palatinate) operates a local rain radar. The range is about 120km around Bonn.
There are also no commercial interests behind it I think and they pass the data to you perhaps.

Hello Ivo
I am from Germany and my English is not the best.
Only now discovered your weather page.
I use weather information on the web since 1994 and your site is actually the best free alternative so far.
Remains in the concept, fast, compact and ad-free.
I would also have no problem for such a good side to pay a small fee, so that it remains ad free and your effort is paid a little.
Many greetings from Koblenz, Rhineland, Germany
