Is there a way to install Windy plugin on mobile device, either in Windy App or in mobile browser? In the previous version I could run plugins from a link opened in mobile browser but this option seems not to be available anymore in the new Windy version.

Seems Windy shows the red alerts in desktop version again from today. Android app still without alerts but presumably this will be fixed soon after update check by Google. Many thanks to Windy team for getting this function back!

@idefix37 I was adviced to run the plugins on mobile via the link https://www.windy.com/plugins. This allows to launch most of the plugins that have already been updated to new Windy version. I particularly aim at Paragliding Mapa but this one is probably not finished yet for mobile devices as it gives error when I try to install it (on desktop it works fine).

@idefix37 Mobile browser (run on Samsung) does not show this option.

I tried to downgrade the app to previous version on another Android phone following this https://www.androidpolice.com/roll-back-android-app-older-version/ and it worked well. The file with previous correct Windy version was downloaded from here https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/windyty-se/windy-wind-waves-and-hurricanes-forecast/windy-wind-waves-and-hurricanes-forecast-42-1-6-release/

@halig Still 42.1.6, last update also on 19/6/2024. When I open it in GooglePlay there is an option to manually update it via Update button (I cant see to which version). But on the other hand the app dow not appear in the list of apps waiting for update. Looks like only manually launched update via button in the app site in GooglePlay is possible for this version even if one has automatic updates turned on (at least on my device).

@halig For me it is still OK, no update even available in GooglePlay so far. For those using this feature it might make sense to disable temporarily automatic app updates from GooglePlay in order to keep the older version until this issue is resolved.

Mobile app (displays correctly) version 42.1.6

Browser version www.windy.com either by mobile or desktop browser (displays incorrectly no red highlighting) version 42.2.3

I use Windy Premium and have couple of paragliding spots saved in favourites including preferred flying conditions for alerts. Until recently when the conditions were fulfilled, the flyable spots were highlighted red. Now this highlighting only shows in mobile app, not desktop (browser) version. Any ideas where could be the problem?
