So the problem is cross-devices as my report relates to using the Route Planner on a computer.

It's nice to see that the problem has been reported. However, it is disappointing to read that this bug has been classified as "can't be fixed" ! Back when I was involved in software development and system maintenance, there were no such things.

Anyways, this is likely to come up again as Internet connection is becoming available on boats and yachts via satellites.

I thought I remember a layer that may not have been called Breaking Wave but that was showing the probabilities of Breaking Wave derived from wind strength and swell but that is a few years back in my mind and I may be wrong about having seen this on Windy.

The Route above, once retrieved from my Favorites:

• Windy Zoom Out to the whole world !
• Zooming back in and Panning causes the beginning of the Route Point and lines not to be displayed while the rest of the Route is ok.

I suspect there is a problem caused by the fact that the Route spanes across the 180 Meridien?

p.s.: As far as I can tell, this is browser independent (FireFox or Google Chrome).

Great job...however I could not find how to set distance in nautical miles (NM) for boats !?!

Love the better distance planning...now I can save & share track...help departure planning for sailing to new destination... thanks

Its a great feature...love it.
It would be nice if I could "save" my route and be able to recall it. Purpose is to plan sailing that route and get a idea of the weather condition at each point while the forecast is moving forward in time. Now I have to make my rout again each time (day) that I load the page.

I am sorry to report that upon installing this app, it was generating annoying pop up ads on my tablet even if the app was not running. Pop up ads disappeared once app was uninstalled and tablet rebooted.
