    • SHARPpy Sounding

      Hello,
I have a suggestion to add SHARPpy Sounding to windy for GFS and ECMWF models if it is possible.
It is very interesting and has a large dataset in the Skew-T.
This is the link for the SHARPpy:

      Thank you

    • Suggestion : Severe Weather Parameters

      Hello,
First of all, thank you for the great website and for your efforts.

I have a suggestion to add the following severe weather parameters which are very important in forecasting of severe weather, instability and thunderstorms:

      1- K index.
      2- Lifted index (LI).
      3- Convective inhibition (CIN).
      4- KO index.
      5- Showalter index.
      6- Total Totals index.
      7- Base Reflectivity (dBZ).
      8- Storm Relative Helicity (SRH).

Note: I know that CAPE index which is available in windy is an important parameter, but the parameters above are also very important in forecasting of severe weather and instability.

I hope that the above parameters will be added to the windy so it becomes more interesting and more accurate in forecasting storms and severe weather.

      Thank you
