@stitch As you know, for mountain temperature forecasts, it is recommended to use high-resolution models whenever possible. However, in Windy, it is preferable to use the Meteoblue model for a specific location. This non-gridded model, developed in Switzerland, does not provide data for map displays, but it uses the actual elevation of the location to estimate the temperature for point forecasts. So it is only available in Basic detailed forecast. But I agree model orography maps for each model would useful.

It seems like folks are simply ignoring the answer. Staff says that the change wasn't intentional, but was rather a result of a bug where work for the mobile app inadvertently affected the desktop version (which they plausibly claim was fixed as quickly as possible). You can't expect a pre-announcement of a change that wasn't intended.

Absolutely love this idea! It would make it easier at a glance to compare the differences between the models. Also, the ability to select different layers across those 4 panels would be incredible! Vote +1 from me.
