      @idefix37
      I did a search for my earlier question but your system did not find it, so I sent the question again with a screen capture as an example.

      Yes I understand spatial resolution of raster data. I thought that perhaps there was a terrain adjustment applied to temperatures for locations where people look for answers, such as towns in small valleys, since temperatures are labeled on the map display at these locations.

      I find the model estimates to be very accurate where I live in a coastal area, but then the temperatures variations are small here. Now I know that the temperature estimates have no terrain adjustments for towns in mountainous area. Thank you.

      I see that you are listed as a moderator. As such, you represent Windy. Perhaps you don't work for them, or perhaps you do. But your tone is very disrespectful and rude. (Perhaps it is a language issue.) I am a paying customer who has found Windy reliable and useful where I live. You act like I'm a lazy student who didn't do their homework. I was trying to find information.

    • Forecast and Current Temperatures for Southern French Alps

      In the vicinity of Guilllestre, Briançon, Embrun, France your forecast temperatures and map displayed current temperatures are significantly different than the current weather station temperatures that you display for those areas and significantly different than other forecasters such as Meteo France. It is commonly off by >15°F. Why is this?

    • High Temperature Forecasts for Southern French Alps

      Your forecasts high temperatures for the southern French Alps seem very low compared to actual temperatures and other forecasters. Compare the forecasts for Guillestre, for example.
