@Ondřej-Šutera Oh! It is a shame, I did quite enjoy the feature and it helped a lot for planning around weather event planning and projects here in Canada, but even just hiking and knowing where’s best to location to weather a passing storm was a nice feature too.
To the person who first asked the question I can say I found a bit of a solution : if you use the route planning feature, you can select various waypoints and it will provide you a graph of the elevations and allow you to interact with the elevations at each waypoint. It is less intuitive and user friendly (and certainly slower), but it does allow you to save those waypoints/route maps to your favourites. Nonetheless, I guess it makes sense that if it was causing the windy servers to overheat or use a significant amount of power/resources, that its feature wouldn’t be as important .
Hopefully one day it’ll come back, we just gotta spread the word about windy and get more people to sign up! :) I
