Would it be possible to have the forecast model switcher in the app to be higher in the menu (as a configurable option)?
I'm more often switching between models than display layers, so having it higher up would be awesome.

Adding it to that bar would be awesome and exactly what I'm looking for. The lack of space is an issue for some, but can be resolved in multiple different ways (second row, swipe to next set of options).
@Suty Thanks for having a look at it. The lack of screen real-estate is pretty real on mobile devices. I've noticed that on my device the time scroll makes the bar higher. Perhaps a - and + can be added on the left and right side so they align below the play button.
I'm using the app to hop back and forth from hour-to-hour to see differences in cloud patterns helping me to find clear skies during the nights.

@idefix37
Thanks for the pointer to the existing button, as you said, it didn't register with me initially. The context in which the information is made available in app and browser differs and I was expecting both to have a similar approach to clicking through.
Your suggestion of moving the (i) would really help with that. Perhaps just moving the single (i) from where it is now into the top right corner of the model selection area (then even the color wouldn't have to change but you would associate the (i) with the weather models.

In the app, would it be possible to add a previous and next button on the time slider. Especially when it's cold outside, with or without gloves, moving the slider only one position doesn't always give the desired result and quite often it goes beyond a single hour forward. Having a button to move it (similar to the web version back/forward arrows) provides exact control.
Buttons could be on the right side of the bar, similar to how the play/pause is on the left side.
Thanks!
Would it be possible to have the same forecast model information regarding update times for the browser version in the same spot as the app has?
On the web version the spot is not as intuitive as in the app and the app version seems to provide more info, including a next update countdown, which is really useful.
I'm currently developing an Android / iOS app that focusses on Northern Lights.
The app will have a free (no ads or revenue flow) and a paid version once it launches. I have embedded a Windy widget in the app with the primary goal to show what the clouds are doing. The embed is available in both versions of the app and presented 'as is' to the end users.
Now that I'm approaching the initial release I'm sorting out the licenses of 3rd party components.
Would the use case described above be allowed under the current terms of use for the embedded widgets (internal purposes, forwarded to users irregardless of having a paid version) or would it be considered commercial use and require an API license?
